Another Lululemon Blog Sale

*Photos are posted. Once again, as a reminder....if you would like additional photos of the item, please use the search function on my blog. Thank you for shopping!*

Like I said in my earlier post, I'm having another blog sale! I always try to do a closet purge and get rid of the "excess." This purge was a little harder for me because I'm getting rid of a few items I love despite giving them enough love. I'm trying to re-home these that will get the love they deserve!

Shipping is typically $5 per item in the US. I'll pay shipping to US if over $100. I use PayPal as GOODS and always pay the fee.

Accepted buyers are taken in the order they are received, not by the amount they offer. My prices are usually significantly lower than eBay and other sites closet sites so please do not try to haggle the price. I can provide additional photos, but I will be taking buyers by the order they are received. If someone changes their mind, the next person in line will be able to purchase it.  PayPal invoices will be sent out as soon as a buyer has committed to that item and provided a PayPal email. If a buyer does not pay the invoice within 24 hours (without prior notice), I will void out of the invoice and send an invoice to the next alternate.

Please email me if you are interested.Thank you ladies so much for helping me purge my closet!

Technical Update

Just a quick update so you guys didn't think I disappeared again! So my computer did another forced Windows update around Thursday and gave it the black screen of death! It disabled my keyboard, mouse, and corrupted everything from my video card to my battery pack. It was finally fixed but the upgrade bumped it back to junk mode again...I was seriously considering throwing it down the trash chute. I've been without it for 3 months anyways! Well I decided to completely wipe it on Friday. My mom backed it up before it was sent back, but I didn't even care if I lost anything at that point...I just wanted to use the darn thing!

I was looking forward to getting wifi/cable on Sunday. Comcast was supposed to come anytime from 10-noon, but they never showed up! I called at noon, 2:30, and 5. They claimed that they came by at 11 and 3, but I'm not buying it....I didn't have a single missed call and home all day. I was stuck on house arrest as I waited for Comcast to stand me up...not to mention I had three passionate phone calls with their customer service reps. A big thank you to Comcast...of course they couldn't send anyone out because it was after their service hours, but they "generously" offered to reschedule for Thursday with a $20 reduction on the installation. Which, according to the floor supervisor, that's the best they can do...(pretty sad if that's true). I got on the apartment computers and got an account with Verizon. Boom. I can pick up their crap tomorrow and install it myself...for free. And I got more perks at a cheaper rate. See ya later Comcast....its been nice...err....its been real...its been a real pain in my rear. (Santa is watching and we all know who has been naughty and nice.)

So I don't know if the Blogging Gods want to make it extremely difficult to post, but it's been a rough three months. Let's cross our fingers that tomorrow I'll actually have Internet and a fully functional computer. Wish me luck....

Rain Runner Jacket - Missing in Action...found!

My Lululemon package containing my Rust Berry Rain Runner Jacket was MIA last night! I had mini wave of anxiety as my apartment complex "misplaced" my package. The FedEx status said it was delivered around noon. I received an email from my apartment complex saying I had a package at 12:05 so it had to be there....right?

They couldn't find my package anywhere. It was so frustrating....I think I went down to our lobby like 4 times. At this point, I was ready to do an official police report....not to jump the gun, but to keep the fault at the apartment complex since I couldn't get my money back through Lululemon or FedEx. I was also concerned that they accidentally gave out my package to someone else since they did scan it into their system. They may have not been able to return it for cash, but someone could have received a nice little $200 gift card for returning at a local store.

I went back this morning expecting to have a conversation with the management office but was pleasantly surprised to find out that they located my package. Apparently they gave my package to another tenant (which was nowhere close to my number or floor). She opened the package, realized it wasn't hers, and returned it to the front desk.

I'm not too sure about this situation. I personally don't sign for packages unless they are mine. Even if I got a load of packages to pick up, I certainly would not have opened a package that didn't have my name on it. If I had received a giant Neiman Marcus box, I certainly would have thought "I didn't order anything from Neiman's....." and check the label. Part of me wonders if she was just checking to see if she liked the item or if it was in her size. Luckily for me, it was returned, and the jacket was still sealed in the packaging.

Regardless of intentions, I'm really glad I was able to get the jacket back....I bought the last one in my size online, and I don't think this item was in a lot of the local stores. If so, it would have been long gone by now. As much as I wanted the jacket, I was more concerned with being able to recoup my money. A $200 loss would have been hard to swallow. While I'm grateful that the tenant did the right thing by returning the package, I'm still a little irked that the apartment complex signed over my package to someone else and that another tenant absent-mindedly (or consciously) opened my package.

Due to the package fiasco, I was running a little late to work so I was unable to really review the jacket. I do need to play catch up with my Fableteics order and this jacket, but I need some good daylight. I'm totally hating on the fact that we lose so much daylight hours in the winter. It's already dark when I wake up and dark by 7:00. I've been trying to get 9 holes of golf in after work so it has been killing my daylight. I'll be getting something up tomorrow though!

Well that's it for my package debacle...have you ever had a shipping snafu? There always seems to be more stress with Lulu items since they frequently sell out...making them hard to find or replace.

Blog Roll Update

I'm just letting you know that I added three blogs to my blog roll. I decided to write quick post because these are three blogs I continuously use for shopping deals:

My Subscription Addiction Quarterly Box Reveal #MSA01 Items

MySubscriptionAdddiction covers a majority of the subscription boxes out on the market. Not only does the blog have a large quantity of boxes reviewed, the review are very detailed with heavy photos. Whether you are new to subscription boxes or want the latest scoop, I highly recommend checking out this blog. The blog also has a great Swap Site where you can trade out your subscription box "rejects" for a different color or item you prefer.

(The blog has just released its own subscription box through Quaterly subscription boxes, and it was quite the hit!)

Nordstrom Beauty Gifts

GWPAddict is another favorite of mine. The blogger posts daily updates of the latest Gift With Purchase deals and beauty sales. While there are no bells and whistles with this site, I can find most beauty deals online through this blog.  Thanks to this blog, I have gotten a lot of my favorite (and pricier) beauty products for 20-30% off.

The Chloe Conspiracy's Big List of Daily Deals  shares a consolidated list of all of the daily sales for women's clothes and accessories. The blog posts a variety of brands, such as, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, C Wonder, DVF, French Connection, J Crew, etc, etc.... While I get email notices from certain brands, it's hard to keep track of all of the sales floating around. I use this site when I'm trying to get an additional 15-30% off coupon code.

Hope you find these as useful as I do. Please feel free to share any other great blogs for finding deals!

Fabletics - September Selection

I finally decided to place a Fabletics order for September. I was thinking about skipping this month. There were good selections, but I don't think the choices were as good as July and August. During those months, there were so many selections it was difficult to chose.

The Next to Nature collection for September had a lot of plums, blacks, and plaids. I really liked the Monegros outfit because of the wrap, but I already had 2 of the 3 items from my review last month and June.  I decided to order the Pumice collection. This collection is a 3-piece outfit that retails for $59.95.

The Pumice collection comes with a Infinity Scarf, Cumberland Tee, and Salar Leggings.

I'm not a huge fan of activewear scarves. I've found the Lululemon ones to be too thick for winter runs. While I would typically opt out for a scarf, I'm hoping that this one is lighter and easier to use on colder runs. I ordered the Infinity Scarf in basic black.

I ordered the Cumberland Tee in Dark Plum in a XS. Fabletics tops run a little big in my opinion, so I typically size down to a extra small. I have regretted every time I have accidentally ordered a size small. I love the plum color, but I don't know how this one will fit. If you look at the photos, the plum looks on the shorter side while the grey looks a few inches longer. I do like that it comes with thumb holes and has a pretty boat neck neckline.

The last piece is the Salar Leggings in Dark Plum in a small. The Salar Leggings have always been consistent in fit and quality for me (not to mention a great steal). If you get them in the monthly outfit, it averages $25-30. While they may not be as amazing as higher quality brands (i.e., Lululemon, Athleta, Splits59), I think they are one of the best (if not THE best) at a bargain price point. I decided to get the leggings because I realized I have so many crops and barely any pants. With winter approaching, I need some longer options. I really love the dark plum color. I would have preferred a solid waist, but my tanks are never short enough they show the waist of my pants anyways.

I had a $40 credit on my account so I decided to get the Salar Capri in black ombre. The Salar Leggings in Colbat Ombre from my August review have been one of my absolute favorite pairs of leggings from any brand. I decided to order the black since I knew would love these too.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all for now. My Lululemon and Fabletics orders should arrive this Thursday. The Lululemon order is taking a little longer because it wasn't shipped from the midwest distribution center. I'm assuming this was the case since there wasn't a lot of product for this item.

My hamstring is still having issues. I've taken a month off and started to lightly workout again. I still have pain so I think this means I'm going to have to start regularly going to physical therapy.  I'm a little bummed....I worked all summer on my flexibility and now I can barely touch my toes.

Luckily for me, the hamstring hasn't affected me playing golf....that's another reason I've been a little silent lately. I have a lot of moving pieces right now and I have to balance everything. I have two big golf tournaments in November at San Antonio, TX so I'm trying to put all of my energy (and money) towards prepping for the tournament. Golf is unfortunately a very expensive sport with private lessons and greens fees....not much left in the budget after that! My injury has helped me steer away both my time and money from Trapeze/Spanish Web and Parkour so that has helped. I'll still be making blog posts, but they probably won't be as routine as previous months until after my tournament.

Keep your eyes peeled for an updated blog sale. I have quite a few pieces I'm ready to part with....I just need to get all of the photos posted.

Lulu order....finally back!

Well I just made my first Lulu purchase in a month! It has been a little bit of a hiatus, but I think I got most of the kinks worked out. I've had so many things going on in the last 1-2 months....vacation, pulled/torn hamstring, computer issues. It definitely seemed like one thing after another!

I had to order the Rain Runner Jacket in Rust Berry. I really loved this color and felt like it would pair well with black or navy leggings. Last year, I stumbled on a fatigue Fo Drizzle and it has been one of my favorite jackets. I liked the Rain Runner because it seemed a little shorter than the Fo Drizzle. I can wear the Fo Drizzle casually or to and from the gym, but it is not a great "running" jacket because of the length.

The only thing I'm worried about is the pocket placement...but maybe that won't bother me. The pockets seem a little on the high side. I love the fact the Fo Drizzle has function, warm and fuzzy pockets. I haven't ruled it out yet...I'll have to see it in person. I'm definitely glad I ordered it when I did. I must have gotten the last one in a 6 because it was sold out after I placed the order. $198 is really high for a jacket so I'm going to have to love, love it to justify keeping it.

Splits59, Glyder, and Lorna Jane

Wow...was a disappointing upload this week! I don't know if they are in between seasons or just slow with shipment, but there also has been almost nothing in the stores this week! Maybe the hurricane slowed down shipments?

I passed on Lululemon this week, but picked up some items from Splits59, Glyder, and Lorna Jane. After this shipment arrives, I'm all full on crops! Seriously...I have too many and have sold the ones I could part with. I need to make a challenge where I don't buy anymore crops after this point until I wear them all at least once!

Splits59

I took advantage of their Semi-Annual sale. I was tempted to load up on several things, but just ordered the Nova Trailblazer Performance Capri in navy/blossom (size small). They were normally $98 and I got them for $50. That's an awesome deal.

Glyder

I also ordered Glyder's Mantra Crops in violet Calypso space dye. I'm a sucker for all things space dye and this color was limited edition and GORGEOUS. I ended up ordering a size small. I ordered a size x-small last time, but I sized up for this order. The compression was awesome...they just cut a little bit too much into my waist. Since I have a training certification, I was able to get approved for their "Guru" program. The crops were already a steal at $56 and I got them 30% off for $39.20.

Lorna Jane

My last order was with Lorna Jane. I took advantage of the last day of their 20% off promotion.  The Tarika Bra was back in stock so I snatched that one up.

I love, love, LOVE these Mod Squad 7/8 Tights. Not only is the print super cute, I really like the color pallet. I probably didn't "need" the bra but wanted to take advantage of the 20% promotion....it makes the brand a little more affordable. I got the crops for $71.99 and the bra from $50.39...much better than the original prices.

So that's it for now. No more crops for me. I think I'm going to take back my Lululemon Camo Wunder Under Crops tonight or tomorrow. I'm also thinking about taking back my Rollin' With My Ommies Tank too. I haven't worn it yet. If I can go a week without wanting to instantly rip off the tags, I didn't love it as much as I thought.

Did you guys take advantage of some of the great sales this past week?

Fabletics Picks for July

I'm actually getting more and more impressed with Fabletics. I've had my ups and downs with them, but actually have been really impressed with the quality of their crops....especially for the price!

While some of their prints in the past haven't been my style (black camo), it was actually hard for me to pick an outfit for July...I liked 6 of this month's selection!

A lot of the styles are very summery basics with a bright summer print. I personally like this print. It's fun, loud, and has great use of colors. It screams fun summer print to me. I like that I can pair most of my solid tanks with this top and not go wrong.

If you missed out on Lululemon's Tech Mesh Tight, they have two intriguing outfits that have mesh paneling.

The first one is the "Brazil" outfit. This three-piece set is $59.95 for subscribers and comes with the Embra tank, Gaviota capri, and Sevan sports bra. The Embra tank is a lightweight knit/mesh tank with a keyhole detail on the back. If you don't like the mesh, they do have some solid color selections too.

I have two Sevan bras and really like them. I got one two months ago and another last month. My package came in last week so I owe you guys some photos tonight or tomorrow! Even though this bra doesn't have padding (a crucial requirement for me since I had nip exposure), I still really like it. It's the only bra without padding I keep and wear because it's so soft and comfortable.

The "Seychelles" outfit is a longer version and has some pretty details in the back. This two-piece set retails $49.95 for subscribers and comes with the Cayman tank and Rocha leggings.

I think the peek-a-boo mesh on the back of the leggings is cute because it's unexpected. The mesh in the top blends well with the top and seems like it would be a very breathable top for summer.

The "Anguilla" outfit looks a little Lululemon-inspired.  The two-piece set costs subscribers $49.95 and comes with the Norwalk tank and Dili shorts.

The Norwalk tank looks VERY similar to Lululemon's No Limits Tank. The only noticeable differences is the bottom which isn't bloused into a tight-fitting band. The material is also made of a grey mesh fabric. I still like the style, and it might be a cheap "dupe" to Lululemon's tank. The Dili shorts are really cute in the deep purple color. I also like the length and the gathers on the sides. I like that they have ruched sides without the need for drawstrings.

I was intrigued by the "Borocay" outfit because of the pretty bra.  This is another three-piece set that sells for $69.95 and comes with the Havana cover up, Moro short, and Ayni sports bra.

I really like the back of the Ayni bra. The delicate straps would look pretty with a loose or back-less tank top. I also like the ruching on the shoulders. The top (depending on the material) looks like it would also make a nice causal top too. I would pair it with a bikini top and half-tuck it with denim cutoffs, and style it with a braided leather belt, long necklace, and leather cuff.

The only thing I didn't like about this outfit is the material looks inconsistent in color. It appears that they used different material in the shorts and sports bra, and the shorts don't look as saturated. It's a shame to have a matching bra that technically doesn't match.

I looved the printed capri pants in the "Aruba" outfit! This three-piece set is $59.95 and comes with the Aventura tank, Sevan bra, and printed Lima capri.

I didn't get this outfit because I honestly didn't need another Sevan Bra. I have two and that's enough bras I need without padding. They also didn't have a lot of color options for the Aventura tank. There was only black and white in my size so I ruled this outfit out.

I ended up ordering the "Barbados" outfit after some heavy deliberation. This is a three-piece outfit that retails to subscribers for $49.95 and comes with the Oula tank, Koia bra, and Suva Run Shorts.

I just ordered the Suva shorts two months ago and thought the fit was nice. I thought the Oula tank was similar to Lululemon's Cool Racerback, but it might be closer to their Swiftly Tank. When I looked at the back, it was made with seamless material. I could pick between purple and mint julep so I picked purple. Mint looks close to Lululemon's angel blue, and the purple was a little darker than other tanks I have.

I mainly ordered this outfit because of the bra. I loved the print and thought the back was really cute. I did notice that the material on the bra looks a a little lighter than the shorts, but I still will get a lot of use out of both. I'll probably pair the bra with my solid leggings and a loose top.

I have really liked Fabletics as a cheap alternative to Lululemon/Athleta/Lorna Jane. I would say the quality isn't AS GOOD as those premium brands, but the quality is MUCH better than Target.  I would compare this to Old Navy with slightly better quality and cuter options.

Right now you can try your first outfit for $25...its a great deal so I definitely recommend you at least try it once. I personally like this month because there are so many cute combinations. If you do decide to give them a try, I would really appreciate it if you used my referral link! Your help allows me to purchase more orders in the future so I can provide honest, un-filtered feedback on the quality and fit of the items.

So that's it! I have a few waves of posts this week. I have Fabletics for June. I'll try to post it tonight or tomorrow. My Ivivva package should be arriving today and I have my FabFitFun Summer Box arriving tomorrow.

Sorry for the brief "vacay"...I never know when I'm going to step away from my blog or for how long. Sometimes I just need a break. I take what seems like a short time off and it ends up being over a week. My mom was in town this past weekend. We went to Gettysburg on Saturday and then to George Washington's Mount Vernon on Sunday. We were so exhausted at the end of the weekend! I took two days off this week and spent it on some much needed ME time since I was running around all weekend.

No big Lululemon items this week...but I almost pulled the trigger on camo Inspire crops. I'm really not a huge camo fan, but those are really starting to grow on me...especially since they are Inspires (and Inspires are my jam!). I did order the Hotty Hot shorts in angel wing:

Hotty Hot Short

I didn't like them at first, but they really grew on me after I saw some local store photos! Plus, it's another print that will go with a bunch of solid tanks. I love the Hotty Hot shorts so I was sold.

Did you guys order anything this week?

Ivivva Ray Keep Ur Cool Racer and Sand and Surf Organizer

With Lululemon having a "meh" upload this week, it's good to know that Ivivva (the Lulu-kids brand) received some cheerful items this week:

I ordered another Keep Ur Cool Racer in ray (size 14) for $26. I have been waiting for Lululemon to come out with ray, but I don't think we will see it this summer. Split pea and antidote hues weren't really for me. I like that this is a more cheerful color like clear mint.

I really liked the wee are from space (WAFS) ray print, but I find myself wearing more solid tanks than printed.

They also had a really cute pattern in neon pink called diamond daze

I have a few archived posts on the fit of Ivivva Keep Ur Cool Racer:
Lululemon Cool Racerback vs. Ivivva Keep Ur Cool Racer
Mermaid Tears
Seapunk Multi

The diamond daze print is also currently available in Rhythmic Crops for $48. That's a pretty great deal. I would be all over them, but I feel like I have enough crops. I'm holding off in case they release the tribal print or WAFS ray print.

If you are wondering what the Ivivva sizes are like in comparison to Lululemon, check out my previous post:
Ivivva Rhythmic Pants compared to Lululemon's Wunder Under Pants

They also had adorable zip pouches called the "sand and surf organizer." I have actually been looking for a wet bag for my bikinis, so I snatched this up for $18.

The bag and tank cost $44 total. Not too shabby considering a Lululemon Cool Racerback costs $42.

I definitely feel like Ivivva has been getting all of the "fun" colors this summer! :(

Lorna Jane Promotion

Tanks & Bras — 2 for $100

I finally pulled the trigger on Saturday and ordered two Lorna Jane sports bras. At first I was going to resist, but then I saw they restocked most of their bras for this promotion. I was tempted to get some sports bras and tanks...it was a good promotion....but I decided to hold off in case Lululemon uploads some goodies today.

I haven't been doing too many Lululemon reviews lately....mainly because I haven't seen a lot of things I "needed" to have or try on. There are a few items I want...but they haven't made it to the US yet (i.e., Chai pullover, Tuck and Flow). I haven't really been feeling the Flowabunga print, Jungle print, or Get On It line....so I haven't been too motivated to visit my local stores. I do like the current colors (Neon Pink, Bruised Berry, Opal), I'm just waiting for some more pieces to come out.

Ok...sorry....on to the goods:

April Bra | Sports Bras | Styles | Styles | Shop | Categories | Lorna Jane US Site

I ordered the April Bra in a size small. I really like the delicate straps and pretty back. I'm really worried about the sizing...I'm normally a medium in bras, but I used their size charts and I'm definitely a small. Per their measurements, a medium would be too big...but we'll see!

Ella Bra | May Collection | Collection | Styles | Shop | Categories | Lorna Jane US Site

I also ordered the Ella Bra in size small. I wanted their green one, but it has been sold out in my size for months. This one reminded me of Lululemon's Energy Bra with a prettier back. The straps are similar, but the band is skinnier. I have issues with the Energy Bra causing my skin to look like its bulging....(not a flattering look)....so I only have one Energy Bra. I'm crossing my fingers that this one works better!

So that's it for now. I probably won't get these until the weekend. We're a little neglected on the East Coast when it comes to shipping...everything Lululemon/Lorna Jane/Beyond Yoga takes about a week because it ships from the West Coast. I'm really excited to try Lorna Jane's sports bras....they have such pretty bras. I still need to try their crops, but I need to find a super special pair to buy....I have waaay too many crops in my collection!

Did you order anything? If so, what did you buy from the Lorna Jane sale?

Lululemon Latest - Around the World

Looks like some new product photos are popping up around the world.

We've seen this bra pop up in the store this week but I just wanted to have a good product photo of it.

Swiftly Tee in Heather Neon Pink
I'm really starting to like neon pink! I just don't think its what I consider "neon pink" in my head....

Power Y Tank
Heathered Opal Power Y
Love that we are getting more Opal items...I really like opal. It's similar to Bali Breeze but with a little more neon.

Serenity Hoodie
Serenity Hoodie
Serenity Hoodie

Hmm....I'm not too sure about this one. Definitely not for me.

Rollin' With My Om'ies Tank
Rollin' with my om'ies tank

Lululemon Angel Blue Cool Racerback

Cool Racerback

So I guess I missed the upload of the Lululemon Angel Blue Cool Racerback (CRB)? Where was I?

I sold one of my pullovers today...so I decided to order the Ultra Violet CRB. Lo and behold the solid Angel Blue CRB was on the US website.

Just a little note for those not as obsessed with Lululemon uploads. The Angel Blue CRB was released a few months ago. Australia got it. Canada got it. The US did not get it....boo. As much as I want to puff my cheeks out and pout...I can't because Canada and Australia also miss out or receive delays on other popular products (i.e., Parallel Stripe Wunder Under Crops). We also got another wave of Angel Blue a month or so ago...but no solid CRB...just a striped Lullaby/Angel Blue CRB.

Well it's here now. I don't know when it was here...but I'm happy :). I will be reselling my Ebb and Flow tank in Angel Blue if anyone wants it. I've worn it like twice (Size 6). Please send me an email if interested.

Would love to see a solid Bruised Berry and Forest....let's keep our fingers crossed!
